Uses

Specialty organic synthesis. Silanization during the synthesis of antibiotic drugs, anti-AIDS drugs, hypolipidemic drugs, etc. Structural control agent for silicone rubber. Surface treatment of diatomaceous earth, white carbon black, titanium and other powders. Adhesion additive for etching machines in the semiconductor industry. It can also be used as an additive for silicon carbide fibers to improve the heat resistance and strength of silicon carbide fibers. It can also be used as an anti-sedimentation agent for coatings and for the preparation of organic silicon compounds.
